Our client, a nationally recognized healthcare organization leader in Central Florida is looking for talents with supply chain or procurement experience to join the team.

Location:

Onsite in Altamonte Springs, FL

Pay:

$23 - $26/hr (based on experience and qualifications).

Shift:

Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 4pm.

What you will be doing:

The Procurement Analyst negotiates vendor pricing, analyzes purchasing options, and collaborates with Hospital departments and vendors to resolve issues impacting patient care. Purchases supplies, equipment, and services for Hospital facilities, ensuring alignment with clinical and financial goals and contract compliance. Provides excellent customer service and maintains respectful relationships.

• Manages workflow and relationships with team members, customers, and vendors professionally. Communicates regularly with assigned departments to ensure effective procurement of products and services that meet contractual and financial goals.
• Reviews and negotiates vendor quotes to ensure pricing aligns with organizational guidelines. Ensures timely submission of required documentation and accurate invoicing in line with negotiated rates, resolving any invoicing issues with departments and vendors.
• Places orders based on the work queue and seeks opportunities for workflow automation, such as vendor EDI integration. Follows up to ensure accurate order transmission based on priority.
• Makes prompt sourcing decisions between OEM and third-party vendors based on department needs. Works proactively to prevent issues and educates departments and vendors on Asset Management requirements.
• Consistently meets performance standards and supports team goals. Reviews equipment repair history, performs cost analysis, and recommends repairs or replacements within guidelines. Notifies departments of end-of-life equipment and encourages budgeting for replacements.
• Acts as a liaison between Procurement manager and Contract Analysts to avoid charges for items covered under service agreements and that non-contract repairs are billed according to agreements.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 3+ years supply chain experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, healthcare or related field.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry operations, and hospital products for specific service lines i.e. Operating Room (OR), Cath Lab, Surgery, etc.
• Customer service oriented, analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• MS Office proficiency and ability to navigate computerized data systems online, i.e. VendorMate, Premier, Adventist Health, Materials Management Information System (MMIS), etc.
