Job Description
Akkodis is seeking an Application Programmer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) . The role involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications in the Global Financial Crimes environment while collaborating with business partners to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Application Programmer job responsibilities include:
Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.
Write, test, debug, and document code for software applications.
Partner with multiple technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate to a strategic platform.
Utilize Java, Angular, and other technologies for full-stack development, including multi-threading, collections API, and JDBC.
Perform performance tuning for data-intensive applications.
Work in an Agile environment, contributing to software development processes and methodologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, applying strong problem-solving skills.
Ensure high-quality software delivery with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
Desired Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
8-10 years of full-stack Java application development experience.
Strong core Java skills, including multi-threading, collections API, and JDBC.
4+ years of experience with Angular and knowledge of performance tuning for data-intensive applications.
