Job Title: Warehouse Lead Location: Lawrence, NJ 08648
Pay Rate: $45,000 - $55,000
Shift: First Shift
PrideStaff is seeking a qualified Warehouse Lead to join our client, a well-established company in the distribution industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations:
  • Oversee all warehouse operations: receiving, processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety and quality standards.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Lead and train warehouse staff.
• Logistics:
  • Calculating truck space required for each order/Truckload.
  • Coordinating with freight brokers and quoting LTL carriers for smaller, palletized shipments.
  • Negotiating and scheduling shipments with Freight Brokers.
  • Overseeing the loading process and tracking shipments.
  • Documenting shipments with photos.
  • Scheduling local deliveries and updating customers.
• Inventory:
  • Manage inventory control and ensure accurate stock rotation.
  • Monitoring and managing warehouse inventory levels.
  • Updating inventory records as new orders are processed (Excel tracking).
  • Conducting quality control.
  • Organizing the warehouse (WH).

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in warehouse management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
