Traveling Construction Superintendent

Commercial & Multifamily General Contractor – Midwest

Are you a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent who enjoys traveling and leading projects from start to finish? We are a well-established general contractor specializing in commercial and multifamily construction, seeking a dedicated Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee projects throughout the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe job site.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections, address issues proactively, and implement solutions.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Oversee material deliveries, inventory, and quality control.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial and/or multifamily projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades effectively.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel extensively across the Midwest and stay on-site for the duration of projects.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary ($125,000 - $160,000 per year) with potential for performance-based bonuses.
