Position Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and purpose-driven software developer intern to join us remotely. You’ll focus on building the Profile section of the platform, working on the  codebase and structure of user profile pages . This is a backend/full-stack role with no design responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend logic and help design database models for the Profile Page
• Implement and connect APIs or backend services
• Contribute to full-stack development if desired
• Collaborate with the core team to integrate profile features into the platform
• Gain real-world experience building a mission-driven tech product

Requirements

• Commitment: 3–4 months
• Schedule: ~4 hours/day, 20 hours/week
• Skills: Backend development (Node.js, Firebase, or similar)
• Bonus: Familiarity with full-stack development and platform architecture
• Passion for social impact and tech-for-good
• Unpaid internship with flexible hours (Leela is a nonprofit initiative in formation)
