Job Summary

This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase organic search rankings, drive traffic, and improve the user experience on our website. This individual will work closely with content, technical, and creative teams to implement SEO best practices across Silencer Central’s online presence.

Essential Functions

  • SEO Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, website traffic, and visibility across all relevant search engines.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct extensive keyword research to identify opportunities for on-page optimization and content creation, ensuring alignment with user intent and business goals.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images to ensure the website is search engine-friendly and follows best SEO practices.
  • Content Collaboration: Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-optimized content that drives engagement and attracts high-quality traffic.
  • Technical SEO: Work with the technical team to resolve SEO-related issues, including site speed, mobile optimization, crawlability, and indexing.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms to track, analyze, and report on the performance of SEO efforts, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor SEO strategies and provide recommendations to stay ahead in the industry.
  • SEO Audits: Conduct regular SEO audits to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance the overall site’s performance.
  • Stay Updated: Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry news to ensure Silencer Central’s website remains ahead of the competition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications, or related field required
  • 2-4 years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role in digital marketing.
  • Experience with marketing within the outdoor recreation, hunting, and/or sport-shooting industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website management tools.
  • Experience with keyword research, content optimization, and backlink strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets

Compensation And Benefits

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 DOE. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
