R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Scientist II in Johns Creek, GA .
Your main responsibilities as an Research Scientist II:
Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of polymer samples to support vision care research and development projects.
Design and execute experiments to for materials characterization, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability of results.
Validate analytical methods including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and other relevant techniques.
Interpret and analyze experimental data and present findings to internal customers.
Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
What we are looking for in a Research Scientist II:
MS, or B.S in analytical chemistry, chemistry, materials science or related scientific field ( 2+ years with MS, 5+ years for B.S )
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Hands-on experience in wet chemistry, spectroscopy analysis, or separation science ( such as HPLC, or GC etc.)
