Remedy (a division of EmployBridge) is thrilled to be partnering with a premier manufacturer in Meadville, PA! They are very eager to welcome a Process Technician to their 3rd shift team. This Process Technician will be tasked with machine set-up and adjusting and monitoring machines/equipment for processes to ensure quality product output that meets customer specifications. Job Type:  Full-time/Direct Hire/On-Site
Hours: 3rd Shift
Pay: $22-25/hour

Essential duties for this Process Technician will include:

• Mounts, aligns, and secures tool sections in machines and verifies safe operations.
• Sets molding process according to setup sheets and quality expectations.
• Sets up, adjusts, and maintains injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, using such items as hand tools, electrical testing instruments, machine controls and gauges.
• Collaborates with other production personnel (Leadership, Quality, Process Engineers and Operators) to ensure quality production parts and continuously improve to achieve effective methods for processing.
• Documents all process problems and corrections in logbook and reports problems and malfunctions to shift supervisor.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment and works with the supervisor when requisitions are needed for replacement parts and equipment.
• Assists Material Handlers as needed and may step in to act as Shift Supervisor in their absence

We're actively seeking Process Technicians with the following background profile:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Additional training/vocational certifications always valued!
• 1+ year of related experience and/or training in plastics manufacturing preferred
• Ability to apply basic math to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as specifications, blueprints, job orders, safety rules, procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions
• Must have a valid driver's license
