Pizza Maker/Cook Location San Francisco, CA :

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Neapolitan Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on Neapolitan pizza-making techniques. This role is essential in delivering high-quality pizzas that meet our standards for taste and presentation. The Pizza Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety and handling guidelines are strictly followed.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and utilized efficiently to minimize waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food handling at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Prep-Cook toppings, Dough Preparation, Sauce, Make Cheese.
• Monitor inventory levels of pizza ingredients and communicate needs to management.
• Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Skills

• Proven experience as a cook in the food industry, preferably with a focus on pizza preparation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent culinary skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
• Experience in catering or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new pizza recipes is highly valued.
