Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Burlington, VT. As a Travel OR RN, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during surgical procedures.
Oversee department admissions to the operative suite.
Maintain aseptic technique to guarantee patient safety.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient vital signs, manage anesthesia, and assist with surgical site preparation.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all surgical activities and patient records.
Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, and oral-maxillofacial surgeries.
Utilize your skills in DaVinci robotic surgery for two specialties.
Deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.

Requirements:

Valid RN license in the state of Vermont.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an OR RN.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications required.
Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
