Job Title: Office Administrator/Operational Coordinator - 25-00744

The Direct Hire Division of Spherion Mid Ohio is partnered with a highly respected business in Richland County, Ohio , seeking a highly skilled Office Administrator/Operational Coordinator to join their team.

Available Shifts :
8am to 5pm (Monday-Friday) with an hour lunch.
*Occasional weekends and extended overtime requirements during busy season

Pay Rate :
$50,000 /yr. (salary increases and/or bonuses will be reviewed annually)

Work Environment :
Professional office environment

Job Description/Responsibilities :
The Office Administrator/Operational Coordinator is responsible for conducting the day-to-day office administrative duties, accounting, and coordinating of all events. You will be using multiple computer programs to manage these day-to-day operations and keep track of financials and upcoming events.

• Office Administrating Responsibilities :
  • Keeping inventory of office supplies, ordering new materials as needed
  • Sorting and sending mail
  • Maintaining files
  • Answering phones, taking messages, scheduling meetings, and greeting visitors
• Accounting Responsibilities :
  • Manage incoming payments, deposit received funds, write outgoing checks
  • Document all business financial transactions, formal reports, and bank statements
  • Oversee and approve all financial plans/revisions
  • Ensure protection of funds from any potential misuse
• Event Coordinating Responsibilities :
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Plan and schedule events
  • Assign and manage contracts for rentals and collection of payments on time
  • Maintain a working knowledge of complex needs for a wide variety of events and address potential problems that may arise
  • Coordinate setup and cleanup for events

Requirements:

• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Have experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and finances
  • 5+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Must be highly skilled and have experience with QuickBooks
• Must have ample experience and knowledge using Excel. Navigating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas and functions are a must
