Job Description

Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Lead

Location: Chicago, IL

Rate: $70 to $90/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O projects involving strategy, implementation, and optimization across IT operations, business processes, security, and data integrity.
Analyze and map client business processes, collaborating closely with technical teams to address system architecture, integrations, and solution design.
Lead day-to-day execution of D365 engagements, including functional design, system configuration, lifecycle support, and project assessments.
Provide expert guidance to clients on leveraging Microsoft Dynamics D365 features and services to optimize their financial and operational workflows.
Identify business and system gaps, communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders.
Uphold a professional and respectful work environment, demonstrating integrity and personal responsibility in all interactions.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Lead Consultant implementing and upgrading Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O solutions.
Proven track record of leading at least 3 full lifecycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O.
Strong understanding of LCS (Lifecycle Services), VSTS/Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Azure platform.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
In-depth knowledge of finance and operations modules, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, budgeting, and procurement.
Experience in functional design, process alignment, and best practices within the Dynamics ecosystem.
Familiarity with leading ISV solutions and how to incorporate them into D365 projects.
Microsoft Certifications are preferred or willingness to obtain certifications post-hire.
