Job Description

Scope of Position:

Reporting to the plant manager performs administrative and analytical duties. Supports the manufacturing operation performing special tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in creating and updating safety documentation (e.g., SOPs, JSAs, safety policies).
• Supports the preparation and execution of internal safety audits.
• Helps record, edit, and produce safety training videos.

• Organizes and document active and upcoming maintenance projects.
• Enters work order and equipment maintenance data into the CMMS or designated tracking system.
• Assists in creating project summaries and documentation for completed maintenance.

• Learns various plant positions and their responsibilities.
• Assists in recording job tasks and procedures.
• Creates video-based training materials and checklists for onboarding new employees
• Works directly with the Plant Manager on project-based initiatives.

• Helps develop training tools, visual aids, and reference materials for supervisors, leads, and hourly staff.
• Participates in brainstorming and process improvement sessions.

• Shadows team members or attend cross-functional meetings when available.
• Other duties as needed or assigned

Position Requirements:

• Minimum high school or GED
• Computer literature and spreadsheet proficient
• Sound written and verbal skills
• Blueprint and math skills
