This isn't your typical instructional design role. You'll be pioneering innovative workshops, testing them with real students, and iterating based on real-world results. Think less textbook, more transformation. Less theory, more practical magic.

What you will be doing

• ? Craft game-changing K-8 life skills curriculum that turns young learners into confident public speakers, compelling storytellers, and budding entrepreneurs
• ? Design cutting-edge assessment frameworks that capture real skill development in unconventional learning areas
• ? Take your designs from concept to classroom, conducting hands-on pilots and gathering insights directly from students and parents
• ? Deep-dive into educational research, emerging trends, and best practices to fuel innovation in workshop design
• ? Partner with our passionate team to ensure every workshop delivers exceptional learning outcomes

What you will NOT be doing

• ❌ Creating fluff content that prioritizes fun over genuine skill building
• ❌ Developing watered-down programs that underestimate our students' capabilities
• ❌ Building theoretical content disconnected from real-world application
• ❌ Designing passive learning experiences or traditional lecture formats
• ❌ Focusing on academic metrics instead of practical skill development

Candidate Requirements

• ? Based in Austin and ready to work from our vibrant campus
• ? Bachelor's degree (any field - we value diverse perspectives)
• ? 1+ year experience designing educational experiences, workshops, or training programs
• ? Proven track record in gathering and applying qualitative feedback from learners
• ? Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for enhanced productivity
• ? Authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available)
