About our local organization: You will join our Aurora Software and Controls Department, comprising over 200 technical staff including Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Systems Administrators, Database Administrators, and Network Engineers, from entry-level to senior chief engineers and architects. Program: This is a large, multi-site distributed ground system development program with multiple software scrum teams delivering the Ground Segment for a restricted space program. The program covers command and control, mission planning and scheduling, and system infrastructure, with anticipated growth to include additional ground capabilities. Job: We seek an experienced software engineer to join our Command and Control team, focusing on Front-end user interface development. Experience with Angular and Node.js is required, as the existing codebase uses these technologies. The environment includes RedHat Linux, Agile Scrum, 3-month increments, and Atlassian tools. Basic Qualifications: Active TS clearance at application and ability to obtain SCI clearance prior to start Level 3 - Bachelor's in Science + 5+ years of software development; 3+ years with Master's; or equivalent experience Level 4 - Bachelor's in Science + 8+ years of software development; 6+ years with Master's; or equivalent experience Ability to pass CI-Poly (not required to start) At least 3 years of experience as a front-end developer (Level 3) or 6 years (Level 4) Experience with Angular and Node.js (JavaScript) Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket Experience with Agile processes and tools Experience on Linux OS Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar Active Top Secret/SCI clearance Completed CI-Poly Experience with Space Industry software development Experience with Command, Control, and Telemetry applications Full SDLC experience Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Strong communication and technical documentation skills Mentoring and collaborative work experience Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Experience with Java development (Internal candidates) Experience with Cornerstone Product Line Salary Range: $110,300 - $165,500; Salary Range 2: $137,400 - $206,000 Salary offers depend on various factors including experience, education, and market conditions.
