Having a clean living environment is very important to all of us, especially if you are unable to complete the tasks yourself. Make a difference in many people's lives each and every day by making the patients/residents' living spaces clean, safe and inviting. Put a smile on their faces! The Custodian cleans dining rooms, office areas, and common areas, assists in resident moves, set up and take down functions, and performs other housekeeping functions as assigned. Duties: Cleans carpeting Removes trash Sweeps and mops hard floors in serving kitchens Loads, transports, and unloads resident furniture Belongings using wheeled carts. Maintains equipment and supplies Responds to emergency cleaning requests from throughout the facility Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to perform physical job demands of position. Must be able to work well with others, generating an atmosphere of cooperation. Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
