Duties/Day to Day Overview

• Would be the face to the business from Software Engineering
• After implementation team walks away, this person would be the main go-to

Functional

• Work with business side – has to be very comfortable working with stakeholders at every level
• Should be able to translate business requirements into technical requirements (and be able to execute on those)

Technical

• Should be ready to be hands on with coding, configuration fixes, troubleshooting, etc. Shouldn’t be waiting for someone offshore to fix any issues.
• From a background should be VERY familiar with Dynamics, 365 etc.

• Will work alongside implementation partner, architect, and coding team
• Once into the go-live, will shadow the implementation partner so once they walk away after 1 month, they would take over and LEAD the effort
• Over the next 6 months, it is about stabilizing the environment
• Once the go-live settles down, they would still be needed as a go-to
• We are working towards a go-live phase of this project
• This engineer would be supporting the “post go-live phase” should be VERY well versed in post “go-live”
• Should be able to identify issues and prioritize - Should be able to understand the business side and prioritize accordingly

Top Requirements

(Must haves)

• Candidate must have hand on knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operation. It would be added advantage if there is prior experience on AX2009.
• Must have functional knowledge of following modules:
• Procure to Pay Process
• Order to cash
• Knows the Plan Build

Technical knowledge of following:

• On technical side should have knowledge about tables
• Classes related to the above modules
• Interface with other applications through API call
• Ability to make new UI or UI extensions
• Ability to use data management framework
• Know how to use Azure DevOps for development and version control and ALM
• Ability to write SQL scripts
• Know the use of LCS and Azure Portal
• Workflow configuration
• Security Management

Beyond technical – should have experience with domains – manufacturing, finance (AP, AR, Invoicing) understanding systems perspective, understanding offerings from 365 for the finance side of it.

Additional Qualifications

(Nice to Haves)

• Anyone who is technical in the 365 world should have no problem with the technical requirements listed above
• AVOID : Architects/SA who are NOT hands-on
