The Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 is responsible for performing assigned tasks related to logistics, inventory management, and regulatory compliance in a high-volume data center environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to documented procedures, and the ability to work independently while escalating issues as necessary.

Inventory Management & Logistics – Experience with warehouse/supply chain operations , including inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, and material movement in an IT or data center environment.
Data Center Operations Experience – Previous hands-on experience working in a data center environment , including handling hardware, asset tracking, and regulatory compliance .
Technical Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Basic ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word for documentation, reporting, and communication.
Execute and coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries (e.g., purchase order [PO] receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities).
Ensure accurate physical inventory tracking, staging, and cycle audits.
Conduct data corrections and compliance audits as required.
Manage material movement, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Handle data-bearing device (DBD) destruction in accordance with documented procedures.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting.
Monitor data center software and respond to equipment failures or errors in performance.
Support programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.
Operate spreadsheet and other software programs to manage and report data.
Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent).
Experience:
2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain management within an IT environment, inventory management, retail, or warehouse operations.
Previous experience working in a data center environment is required .
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Soft Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training.
Basic understanding of data center operations and logistics processes.
Previous experience managing a team of 5-10 supplier resources (if required for the role).
This role is onsite in Chandler, AZ, and requires adherence to standard processes for inventory management, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
