Description
Pacor is seeking a dynamic Customer Success Specialist to build relationships with new customers, manage the onboarding process from initial customer setup through order fulfillment, and then transitioning to customer service. The Customer Support Specialist will be the main point of contact for the customer and will interface with all internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate has an associates degree or higher, at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment and 2 years of customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: New Customer Setup - Work closely with the Sales Manager to support prospective customer sales efforts.
- Manage sample & technical data requests.
- Manage new account setup
- Purchase order (PO) management
- Review purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, quantities, materials, and shipping information.
- Interface with purchasing to ensure raw material minimums and any other set up requirements are met
- Communicate with customers on any questions or concerns that may arise to ensure accuracy of PO entered by customer service
- Follow PO through sales order/production/fulfillment
- Follow up with customers on all new orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
Customer and Sales Support Administration - Collaborate with Sales Manager to identify sales opportunities worthy of face-to-face meetings
- Provide customer support during the new customer phase by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Work with suppliers' sales departments to develop leads, provide technical support to our customers, and keep up to date with new product offerings
- Input relevant prospect and customer information into the CRM (Salesforce) daily
- Ensure all records are accurately recorded and all supporting documents are uploaded
- Generate quotes and proposals with the support of the Estimators
- Collaborate with production leadership to ensure customer requirements and Pacor capabilities are aligned for a long term satisfied customer.
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Associate's degree in marketing, Advertising or a Business-related field or a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer/technical support (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of CRM software (Ex. Salesforce)
- Experience with ERP/MRP software (Ex. Global Shop)
- Preferred experience in production, i.e., understanding production capabilities and limitations, and ability to set expectations with customers
- Team player with a sense of urgency
- Highly self-motivated and results driven
Salary Description
$50,000 to $55,000
