About the Role

We are seeking a highly meticulous and process-driven Banking Operations Officer to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in the day-to-day transaction lifecycle—ensuring accurate and timely posting of financial transactions, managing fund flows, and maintaining the integrity of operational processes. You will work closely with our Treasury, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure all activities align with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately post and reconcile incoming and outgoing financial transactions across bank and virtual account systems.
• Monitor and manage daily cash flows, bank settlements, and account balances.
• Review and validate payment instructions, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal SOPs.
• Support cross-border transactions by managing payout and pay-in instructions and FX conversions.
• Assist in resolving transaction disputes, chargebacks, and reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline operational workflows and improve transaction efficiency.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports and assist with audit requests.
• Maintain accurate logs and transaction records in accordance with audit and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in banking operations, fintech transaction operations, or back-office finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of transaction processing, fund flow mechanisms, and reconciliation tools.
• Proficiency in Excel, core banking systems, and payment platforms.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and maintain high accuracy.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-currency operations or global treasury functions.
• Familiarity with SWIFT, ACH, SEPA, EMT, EFT and instant payment networks.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory reporting for financial transactions.
