Role : Azure Data Platform Engineer

Location: Plano, TX

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 6 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 3 years of experience in Python
• Strong Experience in Python, Ansible, Terraform.
• Strong experience in Python scripting, Terraform in bringing up Azure Platform.
• Strong experience in Azure Data Services- ADF, Azure Data Bricks, Open AI

Preferred Qualifications:

• Significant experience writing Hashi Corp Terraform configurations and modules. Proficient in translating designs into fully developed Terraform code
• Experience in programming and infra-automation tools – Terraform, Ansible, Python, etc.
• Experience in DevOps models with infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code, etc. Experience in Kubernetes is a plus
• Understanding of Azure data analytics technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Open AI. Azure data services deployment experience.
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments, building highly available IaaS and PaaS solutions
• Understanding of landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and well-architected Framework principals
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (i.e., Bash, Python)
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills with ability to work in a global team
• Experience in Banking and Finance domain.
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written & verbal communication, ability to multitask, work well under demanding situations, prioritize and meet deadline
