Job Description:
Release team Chemist- Main function is Coulometric KF, Wet chemistry, FTIR, UV and HPLC analysis / Stability Finished product chemist- Main function is HPLC, Dissolution, Assay and KF analysis / Responsibilities for both positions: tests and interprets results for raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients, finished pharmaceutical products, and stability samples. Interprets compendial and internal monographs, NDAs and Laboratory Quality Standards. Completes updates to Laboratory SOPs and completed second person review of laboratory data
Quals--
BS/MS in science, in Chemistry or Biochemisty, with 2-4 years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience.
Basic knowledge of analytical instrumentation with strong technical and interpersonal skills.
Strong working knowledge of raw materials, KF, Dissolution, and HPLC.
Experience with Waters HPLC and Empower software is preferred.
Must be able to document laboratory data using the GMP/ALCOA principles.
