• Must successfully complete a fingerprint/background check
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s license
• Initial onsite training , with potential transition to hybrid work (reporting to the office once per week ).

• Process vendor payments and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and approve financial documents (vouchers, invoices, POs).
• Research accounting issues and support audits.
• Provide financial support to internal and external teams.
• Review patient history and complete AHCCCS applications.
• Submit applications to AHCCCS for eligibility determination.
• Monitor prior authorizations for medical services.
• Review third-party and Medicaid (AHCCCS) payments.
• Notify leadership of budget-impacting medical services.
• Ensure compliance with PHI and privacy policies.
• Maintain certifications for HEAPlus, AHCCCS, and CHS.
• Work in jail facilities and travel to clinics or hospitals.
• Interact with patients and handle contagious exposure risks.
• Perform multiple tasks accurately under tight deadlines.

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment.
• Must be able to work inside a jail facility.
• Ability to travel to various clinics, outside hospitals, or medical facilities as needed.
• May involve in-person interactions with patients and potential exposure to contagious diseases.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and read for extended periods.
• Must perform multiple, complex tasks and make accurate decisions under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in clerical accounting, bookkeeping, or specialized administrative work.

• Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in healthcare or government settings.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .
• Moderate to advanced experience with CGI/Advantage Financial Software Suite .
• Experience with accounts payable processes.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of insurance , billing rules , or claims processing .

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
